Prof. Mohd Syuhaimi Ab Rahman, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Biography: Mohd Syuhaimi Ab Rahman began his career at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2007 and was promoted to full Professor at the age of 33. Specializing in optical communication systems, he has supervised over 13 PhD graduates, published nearly 300 journal articles, and secured 6 patents. He has held key leadership roles, including Deputy Dean and Director of the Alumni Relations Centre at UKM. A registered Professional Engineer, he was named one of Malaysia's Top Research Scientists in 2021 and is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences. Prof.Yanhua Luo, Shanghai University Biography: Engaged in research on the development and application of special optical fibers. To date, she has published 149 SCI papers in academic journals such as Lab on a Chip, Journal of Lightwave Technology, Optics Letters, and Optics Express, including 32 in JCR Q1 and 76 in JCR Q2 journals. She has delivered 8 invited presentations and received the ACP Best Poster Paper Award 4 times. Additionally, she holds 2 authorized Chinese invention patents and has been invited to contribute 4 review papers for journals including Sensors, Optical Fiber Technology, and Frontiers of Optoelectronics. She has also co-authored 11 chapters in English monographs and serves on the editorial board of Biosensors (SCI, impact factor 5.4). Furthermore, she edited the fiber device testing section of the Springer-published "Handbook of Optical Fibers" and the English monograph "Bismuth-Fundamentals and Optoelectronic Applications" (ISBN: 978-1-83968-243-8). In recognition of her outstanding achievements in photonics, she was awarded the title of "OSA/IEEE Senior Member" in 2018. Prof. Hui Li, Shenzhen Technology University Biography: Professor Hui Li has long been dedicated to the field of high-speed semiconductor devices, with her primary research focusing on vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) and photonic crystal lasers. These are key technologies for high-speed optical communication and photonic integrated chips. She has achieved fruitful results in her scientific research, having published over 60 papers in domestic and international journals, led more than ten research projects including two National Natural Science Foundation of China grants, and holds multiple patents. In recognition of her academic contributions, she has received honors such as the ACP 2014 Best Paper Award and the Green Photonics Award. |
